The Scott Cao 950 cello is constructed from curated tonewoods, with high quality European maple for the ribs, back, and neck, and Italian spruce for the top plate. Fitted with an Indian ebony fingerboard and Hill style boxwood fittings and finished in Scott Cao's Morgan Hill Studio, the Scott Cao 950 is an ideal cello for the high level student ready to push their playing to new heights.
They are set up and tonally adjusted by the Paul A Schmitt Workshop. These cellos are available in different selected copies of famous historical instruments. To learn more about the available copies please contact us at violinshop@schmittmusic.com.
