At Schmitt Music, we understand that selecting the perfect flute is a personal experience that requires time and careful consideration. That's why we offer both in-store and out-of-store trials to help you make the best choice.
How It Works
- Selection and Shipping: We will ship up to 2 flutes to your home, allowing you to compare them to your current instrument, bring them to a lesson, and get to know each instrument thoroughly.
- Trial Period: You will have 7 days from the date of delivery to try your selections.
- Request a Trial: Fill out the contact form to request a trial. We will respond to your inquiry and confirm your selections.
- Agreement: We require a signed instrument trial form and a credit card on file.
- End of Trial: By the 7th day of your trial, contact us to let us know which instruments you will be returning. If you do not contact us on or before the end of your trial, you agree to purchase all items in your trial shipment; we will charge your credit card for the remainder of the purchase price.
- Return Shipping: A return shipping label and instructions for shipping your return will be included in your shipment.
- Purchase Decision: If you decide to make a purchase, we will complete the transaction using your credit card on file. If you decide to return your entire selection, you will only be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
- Liability: You are liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise from the time of delivery until the merchandise is delivered back to our store.
- Travel with Instruments: Please discuss any travel plans with the shop before receiving the instruments to ensure proper arrangements can be made.
Additional Information
Must be 18 years of age or older to set up a trial.
All shipments require an adult signature on delivery.
Remove all rings, watches, and other jewelry before assembling or playing instruments.
Trials are complimentary, but customers are responsible for any return shipping charges, which will be charged to the credit card on file.
