Like-New SE Shires TBBO Blair Bollinger Bass Trombone

The Blair Bollinger Model Bass Trombone was developed through a close collaboration among Blair Bollinger, Steve Shires, and the craftsmen of S. E. Shires. The resulting instrument is genuinely unique and includes several specific design elements , including the Bollinger Tuning System, which facilitates playing scales and arpeggios with the smallest number of handslide positions possible, a weighted mouthpipe collar, custom-weight dual-bore handslide, and unique tuning slide provide quick response and clear articulations.  Complimented by the yellow-brass Bollinger bell, this instrument produces a broad orchestral sound with unparalleled response and quality.

This like-new TBBO was purchased at ITF 2024 and played for only a few months.  It has some light lacquer wear on a few non-contact point areas (including a few valve section and handslide braces and ferrules) but is otherwise in perfect condition.  It has a huge and vibrant sound, with an easy yet broad response and a very open trigger register.  Comes with both Gb-side tuning slides, 3 leadpipes and an SE Shires Bonna case.
