The Andreas Eastman model VC405 cello features a varnish that replicates the exceptional finishes from master workshops in Markneukirchen, Germany, dating back a century. These workshops were renowned for developing some of the finest varnishes of the modern era. Eastman has adopted their varnish recipes and techniques to achieve an authentic old-world finish.

These cellos are crafted from European maple and spruce and are set up by the Paul A. Schmitt Workshop.
