Each tonehole is precision-cut and soldered onto the body tubing, enhancing depth of sound, projection, and tonal color.
About the Brögger Mekanik
Developed by Danish flutemaker Johan Brögger, this innovative mechanism improves performance and durability by:
✔ Enhancing key balance – Solves misadjustments in the traditional Boehm System.
✔ Reducing friction & wear – A quieter, more reliable mechanism with long-term stability.
✔ Increasing durability – Stronger construction minimizes damage in case of accidents.
The Soldered Tonehole Brögger Flute offers extensive customization options to fit your unique playing style. Explore the possibilities and experience the unmatched craftsmanship of Brannen-Cooper®.
Brannen-Cooper® Headjoints
Brannen-Cooper® Headjoints are designed in three distinct styles, based on the research and designs of Albert Cooper, the late Vice President Emeritus.
- Epoch: Our most projecting, responsive headjoint with the least resistance of the three styles.
- Modern Cooper: Inspired by Albert Cooper’s popular design, this headjoint balances projection, responsiveness, and a wide range of tonal colors.
- Modified Cooper: A flexible yet stable headjoint that produces a rich, full sound with slightly more resistance than the Modern Cooper.
Lafin Headjoints
Authentic Lafin Headjoints—crafted under the guidance of J. Rainer Lafin—are also available. These headjoints feature the signature Adler Wings for enhanced response and tonal flexibility. Like Brannen-Cooper® Headjoints, Lafin models share Albert Cooper’s influence but reflect Lafin’s ongoing innovation in design.
